• April 8, 2015: today we visited the very strange but charmingly goofy Museum of the Gulf Coast in Port Arthur, Texas. The town is known to rock fans as the birth place of The Big Bopper and Janis Joplin. Here you see a close replica of the 1965 Porsche 356 SC which Janis bought used in 1968 for $ 3,500, then asking her road manager at the time to give the car a psychedelic paint job. The original car recently changed hands at a vintage car auction for $ 1.76 million!
  • August 10, 2015: talking about great vintage cars, today our friend, pianist and composer Roger Davidson came by the house with his spectacular 1956 Mercedes 300 (the Adenauer Mercedes, named after first West German chancellor Konrad Adenauer who had six of these in his official fleet!)
  • August 10, 2015: down on your knees, everybody! This is as royal as automobiles get.
  • September 19, 2015: what a great pleasure it was to re-connect with R & B singer Bonnie Bramlett whose stunning 2006 ZOHO CD release ROOTS, BLUES AND JAZZ reignited her singing (and acting) career almost ten years ago! Bonnie was performing at a charity concert in Connecticut.
  • September 19, 2015: Thank you, Bonnie, for a performance of amazing power and soul!!
